This is your chance to discover some of the art that is found on the streets of Brixton.
Some is produced by international street artists, while others is produced by community
You will also get the chance to unravel cryptic clues, photograph funny assignments
and compete for prizes.
Starting at The Chocolate Museum in Brixton, the hunt will end at a nearby pub for
a drink, a chance to announce the scores and to laugh at each others photos.
Teams of 2 to 4 participants.
While graffiti was seen as a problem in some areas in the 1980’s, in Brixton it
was seen as a way to brighten the area. Consequently, the council began commissioning
Brixton has a lot of street art, which the London Mural Preservation Society is now
charged with maintaining. Some art is by international street artists, while others
is by local community groups.
